Get To Know Me
If you wanna get to know me, this is gonna be long...
I`m Alifia Afflatus. Just call me Al. I`m 15 years old, homeschooled, quirky (or weird), a hyperpolyglot (speaks a lot of languages) and an outdoorsgirl (follow my outdoor instagram, I`m an archer but if a guy teased if I can shoot his heart, I`ve no doubt to literally shoot his liver. I also really want to be any product`s pro staff, it`s just didn`t come true yet. Well, sometimes I`m an outdoor person, sometimes I`m so happy to sleep all day. I`m a Muslim, and try to be the best, like... by memorizing the Qur`an. The books I enjoy include conspiracy books, history, religion, politics, outdoors, science, and novels with the particular genres, which I mentioned. Sometimes I enjoy romance novellas, but not the 100% romance, just a small amount of romantic seasoning.
So yeah...
You can say this is my beginning for serious-blogging because my old blog was random, I wrote serious things too there, but with random themes. And Thick Eyeglasses Girl blog is where I`m gonna write only about writing, reading, literature, publishing and else. As you know I`m a writer, if you want to read my works simply click on the Purchase My Books And Read My Works page where I list some links where you can read them, well, not all because some of thems are in printed medias.
By the way... do you know why I named this blog this way? It`s sadly true that I`m a girl with big astigmatism on both of my eyes. I wear some eyeglasses, super duper thick, at least that`s how my mom complained me for I was lazy to wear them when I was in primary school, and the astigmatism raised from 2,5 to 4, now. I mean, I was born astigmatism, perhaps because I was a premature baby. But the problem was, I did a method of raising astigmatism. Do you know how? Since I was 4, I loved to read and write. So until now, I love to read, write, sitting down in front of my computer, reading on the bed, reading in a room with feeble lighting, making my phone brightness so dim, and write long stories so I damage my eyes worse. Anyway, I don`t care. I just love to love literature.
About my literature style... I`m a bad poem writer. So you can say, I usually write something with casual styles, or formal style instead. Idk, I have so many styles, it`s just me despite I never tried to write like someone else.
Like I said, it`s a long page. I mean, for a single self-introduction page, it`s too narrative and long. But I hope you don`t mind. I hope you`d like to know me, I`d like to know you too.
